The Rotary Club of Siliguri Central, chartered in 2015 under the leadership of Charter President Vishal Gupta, is a vibrant and relatively young club with an average member age of 47. Since its inception with 25 members, the club has been dedicated to serving the community through impactful projects. Notable achievements include the renovation of six local schools, "Food for All" initiative, and a highly visible World Polio Day billboard campaign in the heart of Siliguri. The club has also organized two successful large-scale cycle rallies, raising awareness and promoting community engagement. Currently, with a membership of nearly 22, the Rotary Club of Siliguri Central is focused on strategic growth, aiming to expand its membership to 30. The club is also committed to undertaking significant, sustainable projects that will have a lasting positive impact on the community. Demonstrating its commitment to expanding Rotary’s reach, the club recently sponsored the formation of a new Rotary club in Siliguri, the Rotary Club of Siliguri Umeed. Several members have shown exceptional dedication to The Rotary Foundation, including Rtn. Vishal Gupta (PHSM & Multiple Fellow+), Rtn. Hemant Mimani (PHF), Rtn. Navin Agarwal and Rtn. Dr. Rohit Mohpal (PHF). Impressively, every member of the Rotary Club of Siliguri Central has contributed to The Rotary Foundation, underscoring their collective commitment to Rotary’s mission of service. Our plan for next 5 years are to increase membership strength to 40, have a sustainable large project and also have our own premises for meeting/s and other activities.
